Johnny Cash At Folsom Prison

This is the way I see it. The loss of freedom is the punishment.

Johnny Cash did a wonderful thing. The Carter family saved him, and he wanted to show that same compassion to the prisoners.

Imagine how you would feel. Even if you lived in a nice big house with any luxury you wanted, you would feel the loss of freedom. Oh someone might be happy to go and pick up anything you want or need. But you can’t do it yourself because you can’t leave.
