Ludmilla Belousova and Oleg Protopopov are a legendary pair of figure skaters who have won numerous accolades throughout their career. They were born in Moscow, Russia, and became partners both on and off the ice.

Belousova and Protopopov began skating together in 1954 and quickly established themselves as a force to be reckoned with. They won their first national championship in 1957 and went on to win the World Figure Skating Championships in 1965, 1966, and 1967. They also competed in three Olympic Games, winning the gold medal in 1964 and 1968 and the silver medal in 1972.
